1. General Information

These Terms and Conditions apply to all services provided by The Laundry Room (“we,” “us,” or “our”) to our customers (“you,” “your”). By using our website, contacting us, or using any of our services — including laundry, dry cleaning, ironing, repairs, shoe cleaning, or collection and delivery — you agree to these Terms in full.

Our current contact email is laundryroom.lr@gmail.com, and our operating hours are Monday–Friday, 9:00am–5:30pm, and Saturday, 9:00am–2:00pm (seasonal hours may apply).

2. Service Use

All items submitted for cleaning are accepted on the understanding that:You are the owner of the items or have permission from the owner to have them cleaned.

You have checked pockets, buttons, and zips, and removed any loose items such as coins, pens, or accessories before handing them over.

Labels and cleaning instructions provided on garments are accurate and up to date.

3. Collection and Delivery

We offer a free collection and delivery service within our local area.

Collection and delivery times are arranged based on availability and may vary depending on demand.

Customers must ensure they are available at the agreed time or provide a safe place for pickup/drop-off.

Any delays or missed deliveries will be rescheduled at our earliest convenience.

4. Turnaround Times

Standard turnaround time for most services is 24–48 hours, depending on the type of cleaning required and the quantity of items.

Some items — such as wedding dresses or heavily soiled garments — may take longer, and we will notify you of this when you place your order.

5. Payments

Payment is due upon collection or delivery unless otherwise agreed.

We accept standard payment methods as displayed in-store or discussed during booking.

6. Damage and Loss

Every effort is made to treat all garments with the utmost care. However:

While we use industry-standard cleaning methods, we cannot be held responsible for damage caused by defective or unstable fabrics, faulty stitching, or pre-existing wear and tear.

In the rare event of loss or damage, our liability will not exceed ten times the cleaning charge of the affected item.

Claims must be made within 48 hours of receiving your items, with the original receipt as proof of service.

7. Stain Removal

We do our best to remove all stains, but complete removal cannot be guaranteed.

Some stains may be permanent or require treatment that could risk damaging the fabric. We will always use our best judgment to protect your garments.

8. Uncollected Items

Items not collected within 90 days of completion may be donated or disposed of, as we cannot store items indefinitely.

9. Customer Satisfaction

We take pride in our quality and customer service. If you’re unhappy with your results, please contact us within 48 hours of collection or delivery, and we’ll do our best to resolve the issue promptly.

10. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. The most recent version will always be available on our website. Continued use of our services after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
